28 Sep

Cliff and Zeb were already up when I got up at 7 am. I talked with them for a bit and drank a cup of coffee, I read a chapter in my Bible and sent out the verse of the day:

Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

I got myself ready for the day and fixed Belgian Waffles and sausage for breakfast. I use the Krutez Belgian Waffle Mix and Swaggerty hot sausage.

I switched out the laundry and then took Zeb to class. We are having some heavy rain here. Zeb only had one class, so I went to Wal Mart. All the buggies were drenched, and their roof was leaking badly in very many places. I do not like a wet buggy, so I wandered over to the indoor garden section and scavenged one from an employee who was putting cheap Christmas decoration on a shelf. I couldn’t think of anything that we needed other than some apple juice in the glass jars and more waffle mix. I called Cliff to see if he could think of anything and he rattled off a list as long as the Jolly Green Giant’s leg in a matter of a few seconds. I got a few of the items but not all of them. After nabbing Zeb, we went to the Camera Castle in downtown. He is getting red dots on his photos. We grabbed a Burger King for lunch (one of my least favorite restaurants). I cleaned up the dishes from breakfast and finished up the laundry. After lunch, I sewed a few lines on the quilt that I am working on. We are getting some heavy rain and wind from Hurricane Helene.

For supper, I fixed some Chicken Bacon Pasta.

Cliff and I watched a YouTube show called Celebrating Appalachia. I cleaned up the kitchen and sat and talked with Cliff.

I repotted some of the house plants that needed a refresh of soil and larger pots. I think the Wandering Jew plant that Alex gave me looks cute in the head pot.

I got ready for bed, read my Bible and prayed. I had a good nights rest
